Job Description
The Warehouse Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations specifically for client supply requirements. The role ensures timely receipt, storage, picking, dispatch, and documentation of parts and materials as per client’s standards. The executive will coordinate with internal teams, transporters, and respective customer to ensure 100% compliance, on-time delivery, and zero disruption in supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Handling & Inventory Control
Ensure proper receipt, unloading, verification, and storage of parts/materials.
Maintain accurate stock levels through daily cycle counts and system updates.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO adherence and minimize inventory variances. - Dispatch & Supply
Oversee unloading, inspection, and recording of incoming goods.
Verify delivery notes, invoices, and purchase orders, e-waybills
Ensure proper labelling and storage of received items.
Plan and execute dispatches as per client schedule (Just-in-Time / JIS if applicable).
Coordinate with transporters and drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
Prepare and verify all dispatch documents (invoices, challans, e-way bills, gate passes)
Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
Adhere to client logistics/warehouse compliance requirements. - Warehouse Organization
Maintain proper stacking and storage layout to optimize space.
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company and legal standards.
Implement 5S and lean warehouse practices.
Knowledge of route analysis and preparation of CMR - Coordination & Communication
Supervise warehouse helpers/labor staff during loading/unloading and packing.
Train new warehouse workers in SOPs and safety procedures.
Monitor attendance and productivity of the warehouse team.
Act as the point of contact between warehouse operations.
Handle day-to-day issues and escalate critical concerns to the Operations Manager. - Documentation & Reporting
Maintain records of incoming/outgoing goods, GRNs, and returns.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on inventory and dispatch status.
Support audit and compliance processes. - Logistics Coordination
Track shipments and coordinate with freight providers.
Manage transport scheduling and vehicle tracking.
Address delivery issues, delays, or damages.
Requirements
Experience in warehouse management, logistics or 3PL
Familiarity with warehouse management systems
Strong Supervisory skills
Ability to anticipate and resolve problems
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Good communication and writing skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office tools like Word, PPT & Excel. Ability to lead a Small team.
Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
- Education in logistics or 3PL & Warehouse is a plus 2-4 years of relevant experience in handling Warehouse operations.
