Key Responsibilities:-
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in contract logistics and 3PL services (warehousing, transportation, distribution, and reverse logistics).
- Conduct client prospecting, cold calling, networking, and lead generation to expand the customer base.
- Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and customized logistics solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs) with clients.
- Achieve assigned revenue and margin targets through strategic sales initiatives.
Contract Logistics Management
- Design and implement contract logistics solutions including warehousing, order management, inventory planning, and distribution.
- Ensure smooth on boarding of new customers and seamless transition from sales to operations.
- Monitor contract performance, KPIs, and customer satisfaction levels.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure contractual compliance.
- Implement value-added services (VAS) such as packaging, kitting, labelling, and returns management to enhance customer experience.
Strategic & Operational Alignment
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities in 3PL and contract logistics.
- Collaborate with solution design teams to create cost-effective and innovative logistics models.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure profitability, resource utilization, and SLA adherence.
- Drive digital transformation by leveraging WMS, TMS, and data analytics to strengthen decision-making.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or Marketing.
- 4-6 years of experience in 3PL & WH sales, contract logistics, or solution design.
- Proven track record of business development in warehousing & contract logistics solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiation and P&L management.
- Knowledge of WMS, TMS, Lean, JIT, and Kanban systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer relationship management and key account handling abilities.
